Mona Damluji curates path-breaking exhibits featuring art, film, photography, and comics from the Middle East and beyond.

The traveling exhibition Arab Comics: 90 Years of Popular Visual Culture, co-curated in collaboration with Nadim Damluji, has been shown at universities, colleges and institutions around the world from Berkeley to Berlin.

The exhibition explores how, for close to a century, Arab artists have created comics to reflect on the social and political circumstances of their times. Featuring thirty-four panels and covers, this traveling exhibition maintains a public mission to connect with a diversity of audiences on and beyond college campuses. The exhibit opened at Brown University in 2015.
